We were surprised there was no visitor information centre.
We were surprised there was no visitor information centre. There is not really much to do at Batemans Bay unless you like fishing. Good fish and chip shops but little else unless you went to one of the big clubs.

A lovely area to stay with lots of beautiful bays and beaches to explore.
There seems to be plenty of activities to partake in (kyaking tours and river cruises), but it pays to book ahead to make sure you get to do them.

Room was lovely and bed very comfortable.
Room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Views from balcony over water and jetty very nice. Everything was very clean.
Unfortunately they were fully booked and there were no car spaces left under the building. Bit disconcerting when random cars are driving through checking out cars in the undercover parking area.
Bookings.com mention BBQ facilities- there are not. When we came back from a picnic there was a fellow going through the industrial bin belonging to the accommodation.

It's a beautiful little town which is very relaxing to stay at. The only downside is the lack of food options on a weeknight, and lack of quality restaurants. Other than that, we really did love our stay. For a relaxing time away with beautiful views and peaceful, waterfront surroundings, it's really lovely.

The atmosphere is great, the marinas and views of the bay are lovely. Accessibility is great and you are walking distance to alot. Cassies Beach is wonderful and clean - perfect for families with kids.
Sam's Pizza is absolutely divine for a full belly feed at a reasonable price.
The BoatShed had amazing fresh fish and chips!
Unfortunately most businesses and restaurants are closed on Sundays and it is hard to find somewhere to dine.
I have stayed here on numerous occasions over the years. It is now under new management but still maintains its quality. Really enjoy staying here, room always clean and maintained with room cleaned each day. Location is great and the new management have done a wonderful job of the surrounds. The on site cafe is well worth a visit and it is a nice and relaxing walk into the retail area of Batemans Bay. Top spot in Batemans Bay.
You stay at this property because of the location, views and price. The Batemans Bay CBD, restaurants and other attractions are mostly within a short, five minute walk. The property is right on the water so the views are excellent (depending on which room you book) and there’s a restaurant and bar onsite. There’s also underground parking onsite.
We ended up at Zorba Waterfront Hotel after our car broke down. The staff were exceptional. Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Batemans Bay. The cinema, shopping, bars and restaurants, walking and biking paths are all close. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully next time with a working vehicle (they do have parking!).
This was a fabulous place to be based to explore and enjoy Batemans Bay. Alison was an exceptional host - giving helpful advice and responding quickly to requests. Such a beautiful seaside view and vibe just outside our window. We loved the complimentary use of bikes to enjoy the promenade cycling track. Strongly recommend.
Beautiful staff at such a family friendly resort! Cabins, rooms and surrounding areas were super clean, modern and value for money with kids facilities. Great size pool for all ages, Putt Putt golf was a great family bonding activity, jumping pillow was a blast and such a gorgeous location! ☺️
Debs on reception was always on hand to help and the owners are lovely too! They run a great lodge👍
Close proximity to Batemans Bay, local shops and restaurants but more importantly, the beach! Only a short drive to others as well.
Sunrise at Corrigans though was so beautiful!
Clean, friendly place. Near beach and town facilities. Would be a good place to stay for anyone intending to spend the days with at the beach or driving around. Family-friendly, with good facilities such as kitchen and barbecues.
The hotel had been renovated to a high standard with comfortable beds and a good shower. It's incredibly well located to everything Batemans Bay. The manager on duty went above and beyond to assist us.
