Campbelltown has more to offer than just a place to stop for a coffee.
There are churches and historic buildings to visit and an interesting bookshop specialising in Tassie books.
There was a market in the Town Hall on Sunday and there is a reasonably stocked IGA for self-catering.
Being located in the middle of Tas it gives very good access times to Hobart, Launceston and the East Coast.
Fantastic host (David & Irene) prepared kids cutlery in advance when we indicate a child in the booking. Beautiful and Huge apartment (1 suite bedroom with toilet, 1 bedroom, 1 common toilet, 1 living room with open kitchen next to it). Provided us with muffins for tea break, bread, cornflakes etc for breakfast, eggs, noodles and pasta to cook. Provided some bottle water, milk and orange juice. We don't need to worry about going hungry at night. Located around the mid point of Launceston and Hobart. Good rest point for a night.
The property was lovely, a nice garden, veggie patch, sheep, Alpaca’s, chooks and birds in a lovely setting. The old country style house and cottage were lovely inside, with all facilities needed. A great change from the usual hotels. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Overall I was very impressed and enjoyed my stay.
Ivy ion Glenelg is a surprise package. The hosts have thought of everything - easily the best BNB I have stayed in Tasmania. The breakfast was plentiful & easy to prepare. We loved sitting at the outside table watching the alpacas, sheep & chickens. Loved everything about this delightful cottage in Campbell Town.
More than ample food supply. Warm room, well furnished, free wifi, proximity to Campbell Towns only good restaurant, friendly owner. Safe parking, not visible from the road: of special interest to me as I had a motorcycle and equipment on my Ute. Definitely recommended.
Absolutely loved our stay Host was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Hotel or Takeaways for dinner.
Nice courtyard to sit and have a wine.
Everything you,d need for a great night stay.
Amazing breakfast supplied.
A delightful discovery in Campbell Town. A well stocked and provisioned self contained studio in which we were very comfortable. And warm on a particularly stormy Tassie night. Thanks David for your hospitality.
