Wonderful staff. Excellent customer service. Went above and beyond to assist us outside of our booked times. Will definitely be back when the refurb is completed. The upside definitely outstayed the downside. Just need to take extra blankets next time.

Beacon Point Ocean View Villas, hotel in Forrest

Featuring a private balcony offering lovely ocean views and barbecue facilities, Beacon Point Villas are just 4 minutes’ drive from Skenes Creek Beach.

View was lovely. My mum enjoyed her morning breakfast watching the birds and surf. Being in the treetops is nice. Air-conditioning unit does heating which is great as we have never used a fireplace before. The fireplace did look epic though. Kept bedroom doors open to heat the bedrooms. We were nice and warm. Place was clean, except the bbq. My Mum would happily stay here again.

Lack of restaurants that were open.

Lack of restaurants that were open. The Brewery was open only on Friday and Saturday evenings. For evening meals it meant a 30 minute drive to RSL in Colac. Lovely countryside for walks, Lake Elizabeth in particular

Located down a country lane in secluded area of town, giving total privacy - yet within close walking distance to everything Forrest has to offer ; Decor authentically done in 'steam punk' style - for those who enjoy a truly unique getaway & 'yesteryear' experience away from 'run-of-the-mill' modern hotel designs of today's resorts...yet still with the mod cons & comforts of 21st century. Steam Carriage Forrest is so special you won't even want to leave to explore anywhere else in town!
