Town didn't have a shopping center but is within short drive (5 minutes) to Raymond Terrace which has all shops required for food / clothes etc for longer stay. Heatherbrae has many service stations as well as food areas, including fast food, pie shop etc

Heatherbrae is right on the highway so there can be some noise at certain times , also access and egress can be an issue, That being said, it is a nice place , close to Raymond Terrace and I guess the Airport if you dont mind a 15 min drive. I like the place , Nice people, and a good place to stay on your trip.

It was just an overnight stay but disappointing. Just 1 bedroom with Queen bed and a queen bed and 2 singles in living room. One very small uncomfortable lounge chair and no sink in the dining area with only a microwave, kettle and toaster. Whole room needs renovating.SylviaAustralia - 10Scored 10

The bathroom has been renovated since our last stay which was very nice. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were delicious. The staff were friendly and polite. We find that The Sir Francis Drake is a great spot to break our journey.

I just needed a bed and a shower for the night. Also, somewhere to catch up on a bit of work. The cabin was clean and had everything I wanted for my brief stay. It's close to the Pacific Highway but not on it, which does mean reduced traffic noise.
