This is my top pick for accommodation so far this year. I stayed at Sylvester's in March, and I was delighted by the facilities and all the touches that were included, and the owners were welcoming. The owners had a list of local eateries and a small snack basket in the kitchen. I was invited to pick apples from the tree in the front yard and ripe tomatoes, and they were delicious; such a treat. There was fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers in the bathroom. The bath towels were plush, and the bed was comfortable.
Three Bedrooms Hermay Cottage has a patio and is situated in Invermay, within just less than 1 km of UTAS Stadium and 1.7 km of Albert Hall Convention Centre.

The King spa suite was very roomy, bed was exceptionally comfortable, double shower was lovely with excellent water pressure. Lots of quality fluffy towels provided. Under floor heating in the bathroom area was wonderful, kept the temperature at a very cosy level. It was great to step out of the shower onto heated tiles. The room was clean and Basics (shampoo,, conditioner, body wash ) were all provided, plus tea coffee and milk. Just a short walk across the car park to the Bistro and a very big IGA supermarket was next door. Very nice place to stay and location was excellent. Didn't hear any noise from road traffic. When we had an issue with the toilet flushing (which turned our not to be an issue at all) staff were there within 10 minutes of reporting it. Furnishings were a little dated (but it is Ye Old Tudor Hotel!)😊 Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

A superb stay, always clean, always comfortable, the staff are always efficient and welcoming, and the rooms are very nicely appointed, regardless of which one you choose to book. Having a day spa, and hair/makeup salon in the building is also very handy if you are in town for an event or just want to pamper yourself.
