The people were welcoming and friendly. The Cafes and eateries were excellent. The area is very interesting and the vista is very picturesque. With the richness of the farming and military links and the old Cummins Theatre it is a great place to visit.

The wave rock formations and granite outcrops are...
The wave rock formations and granite outcrops are spectacular. Totaden Rock is a uniquely beautiful example of the wave formation with added bonus of huge granite outcrop which is home to a wide range of flora and fauna - amusing to watch the 'tata' lizards scampering everywhere.
Kokerbin Rock is the third largest monolith in Australia and with its caves, waves, devils marbles and interesting bushland it topped off our day's visit to the area. For us it certainly rivalled the heavily advertised alternative tourist destination of the famous Wave Rock at Hyden.
