San Remo is a thriving little town with good shops and good choice of restaurants and bars. The parking is great for a short stay but gets very busy especially around noon when the pelicans are fed at the waterfront. Great kids play area on the main street too. Traffic is a bit of a nightmare. It's busy and people drive too fast. Turning right onto the main highway from the main street or accommodation on that side is very challenging. We ate breakfast at Bean'd. It was delicious but as it seemed the only place that served breakfast (apart from the usual Bakehouse pastry fayre) it was extremely busy and getting a table took a bit of time.RRuthAustralia - 2.0Scored 2.0

I would NOT recommend this resort, our room was so awful, dirty carpet, chipped glass top on the sideboard. Dirty crockery for tea making. Walls were very in need of repainting. RUSTY OLD IRON, SQUASHED BUGS ON THE ROLLER BLINDS, DIRTY AC UNIT -(MOULD ) & PLUG & Chrome Waste MISSING FROM THE SINK. Dreadful - if we had not been going to a Wedding at 5pm that day I would have checked out. Room 307 needs a serious refurbishment.

San Remo is a beautiful little town on Westernport Bay.
San Remo is a beautiful little town on Westernport Bay. Very popular in the summer months as the beaches are lovely and there are many attractions nearby eg Phillip Island. All you need regarding shops, cafes and hotels. Accommodation to suit everyone.

Loved the fact that the beds came with heated blankets, very useful during the cold night I was there. Room is very spacious and you can just park your car in front of your room. Amazing Fish & Chips at their restaurant!
