We were upgraded, The room was great for me as I have need a walker to move around. The room we were given was a room with a disable shower and chair. I really appreciated this. The view was incredible also, and we were able to take the early morning sunrise over the water. I would love to thank the lady my husband spoke to. He said she was very nice.

The Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track is a wonderful walk around the coast from Waterloo Beach to Schouten Beach. The walk itself is not as long as the name suggests.
Very nice views of Great Oysters Bay, with backdrop of Freycinet Peninsula.
As usual in Tasmania, there is nearly no one to be seen on the main street of this town after about 7pm. It's refreshing.

From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking.
From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking. Not much choice of places to eat. The oyster bar was closed due to weather, we were unable to get to the patisserie as the bridge was closed due to flooding, the pub closed at 2 so cant have a late lunch which often happens as a tourist. the IGA was closed for some reason and there was a small express IGA that had your basic items. We had dinner at a small local cafe and it was very expensive for what it is $40 for a main. But we didn't have a choice as pub full and that was the only place in town open.

Beautiful stay, super cozy and best sleep I have had on the whole trip.
10/10 for charm & spa bath was amazing after all the walking done. Great pub 2second walk down the road, loved the experience
Cant recommend the Waterloo Hotel highly enough. The rooms are pretty much completely original and absolutely spotless. Couldn't believe how well kept things like the tiles in the bathroom and the furniture was. Great shower pressure, amazing views and the restaurant downstairs is a must visit. Big 70s/80s vibes in the best way.
Great caravan park to stay. The cabin looked old from the outside but we were very surprised when we walked inside to see how it has been very well refurbished. It was cosy, clean and had all we need. Tastefully decorated. Great location across from the beach and easy walk to town. Would stay again.
Swansea is a small town so the Holiday Park was not far from the town centre in fact you could walk. The Holiday Cabin was very clean and the beach was covered in seaweed but I'm sure in the warmer weather months the beach would be fine.
The beach is right at the back door oft the Holiday Park.
The location was fantastic with private access to the beach which was only a 3 minute walk. The house itself had everything you needed plus a huge book and DVD library, lots of play things for the kids and an outdoor shower for after being at the beach which was a brilliant idea.
The cabin was situated on the cliff top and had a sea view. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities are u ok were provided. The bed was comfy and was greeted by the sunrise from our bedroom window . A short distance drive to Swansea town
Freycinet Waters is an excellent B & B in Swansea. Hosts Bob and Karen made us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional. Our room was well appointed with all facilities and a lovely view of the beach.I would recommend to stay here when visiting Swansea.
Loved it! An old caravan park I presume that is being done up with lovely chalets. Lovely people who have done a great job with the place! Communal fire pits on a lawn area overlooking a magic view too. Everything clean and well thought out. Thanks!
The property is lovely and clean, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on the food. the meal was one of the best we had on our holiday in Tasmania. The room, bathroom and sitting room were a nice size. We would recommend this property
Meredith House is stunning! The onwers were eager to please and help with everything. From preparing special breakfast with homemade gluten-free goods to amazing conversations about Tasmania and Swansea, they made everything perfect.
Swansea Cottages are set in a quiet garden like location walking distance to the beach and town facilities.
The rooms are comfortable and well finished .
The gardens have a great communal fire pit and seating area .
Paid for an upgrade to a two bedroom room which was wonderful. Right on the doorstep of the water and roomy with great facilities.
RSL at Swansea needs an honourable mention as a great place to have a meal.
Friendliness, nearness to facilities and my work place, more like a home than general accommodation, met my breakfast needs. Anyone will not be disappointed with this place as an accommodation destination.
Swansea backpackers is well located on the East Coast of Tasmania with easy day access to tourist destinations. It has everything that you need for your stay & is comfortable.
