This is a classic old Sydney building with a few original features, including some quite small but extremely cheap rooms. You do not expect anything above basic for this price, and you have to be okay with some quirks, but it's clean, the beds are comfortable, there's enough tea, coffee & biscuits to keep you going and you can always duck down to the bar for a drink.
These guys came through when I was in a huge scrape, had lost my purse and missed my train and was in a massive panic stuck in Sydney with nowhere to go. The manager even carried my suitcase up to my room for me.

Taking my passport and credit card for as guarantee.to ensure they wouldn't has things to stolen or breaking windows when we leave! however, when we arrived the room, there are 2windows broken which gives me harder time. The shower hasn't got hot water ... The wifi just unreachable from the room.... I should ask for refund however we just too tired to go on and on...
