It’s so nice to find a property that is dog friendly. My little 13 yr old boy goes everywhere with us. He has his own bed on the floor and sleeps beside me. Also when you work long hours you just need a break from it all. Sommers Bay Beach House ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️is the place to be.!

Loved our stay here. The cottage is clean, cosy and extremely well equipped! Ample breakfast options were very generously provided. This has been one of our favourite places to stay so far, 2 months into our trip!

We were greeted by host on arrival and communication with host throughout the duration of our stay was excellent yet respectful of our privacy. The property is very well maintained and beautifully kept. The cleanliness is outstanding. Everything you need is available. Comfortable beds and linens. Photos represent the property well and if anything the property is better that represented in photos. The private beach was a fun pastime.

We were very satisfied with the room.
We were very satisfied with the room. The biggest disappointment was the lack of restaurants and places to shop for food. It would be a good idea to let people who stay with you know that those options are limited and to buy food before you arrive. We were assuming that Pt. Arthur was an actual port and would have restaurants etc.

Unzoo is fantastic for kids (and Adults) wanting to get the up-close views of the Tasmanian Devils, kangaroos & wallabies. It probably won't fill out an entire day but you should enjoy it at a nice slow pace (so maybe 3-4 hours).
With Port Arthur, a chocolate factory and lavender farm there is much to do within the area so you should plan to be in the area for at least two days maybe three if you want to really enjoy it at the pace it deserves.

It was a great place to stay for couples eveything was great about the place. Just down the road was the chocolate factory and the unzoo for the tazzie devils. It was also a short drive to other attractions like Port Arthur.
The owner was kind and thoughtful. Our flight was delayed but she waited for us and even warmed our room and left the light on for us. She provided helpful information on sightseeing and food at Tasman Peninsula. The kitchen was well-equipped with an oven, microwave oven and stove. The drying rack for clothes was useful. There were sufficient hangers. The heater in the bathroom kept us warm during our baths. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay at Masons Cottages. Thank you.
The host gave us clear instructions for the directions and check-in process. There was a welcome sign with my name before our room which was a lovely surprise. The room thou small but everything you needed is there and it is comfortable and clean. There's a BBQ beside for use. There's a lovely beach behind the hotel which offers a beautiful sunset.
We stayed in a Studio Cottage which had been renovated. It was immaculately well presented and spotlessly clean. It was self contained and all equipment provided was in good order and well maintained. There is a BBQ available and also guest laundry. The cottages are only a 10 minute drive to Port Arthur. A very good and comfortable place to stay.
We like this hotel which has good position. just near the main road to Arthur port but very quiet still. The inside is new and very very clean, with enough space for a family. If come to visit Arthur port we will definitely book it again.
