The accomodation has a lovely outlook to the river & location suited us well with a short drive to Spencer for delicious food options. It was private/ self contained, clean and nicely decorated with attention to detail. Communication from the hosts was great even though they were not close by on that particular weekend. Would recommend!

Thank you Sam. We(4 families, 15pp) had a wonderful Easter holiday on your farm. In particular, we would like to thank you for giving us plenty of time to pack, eat, rest (because the three big boys like to sleep in) on the last day. The kids had a blast feeding horses, collecting eggs, feeding rabbits, and playing hide and seek. The three little ones also spent a lot of time playing table hockey. The house had many rooms and three bathrooms. The large room downstairs was perfect for the three big boys, very spacious with their own bathroom, so we didn't disturb each other. The two living areas upstairs and the kitchen were very convenient to use so we didn't interfere with each other. The barbecue was also great 👍. We picked eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers from the yard, and they tasted very fresh and delicious.❤️❤️❤️already recommend your farm to our friends!

The river is the highlight of Wisemans - if you are into waterski-ing then head up river, if you are into kayaking and fishing - head down river. Highly recommend for a great day out on the water - classic Hawkesbury River! You can head over to St Albans for lunch and a little more history or follow the river all the way to Spencer with another great place to eat. The roads can be a little narrow, but its still a great place to ride a bike if you are not into watersports!

We really liked the central location and it was easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate was very good but no double bed with ensuite available, the single beds were comfortable and there was an ensuite with that room. Good heating and extra blanket for a chilly night. Food was good at the inn and serving size was generous.

We loved the ferry/punt, across the beautiful Hawkesbury river. The landscape and birds were stunning. Food was great at the general store and check out Spencer while you're there; it is a piece of paradise and the locals are great too.

The Bowlo has hearty food and a beautiful view of the river/escarpment. The Inn has a great view and ambience...excellent singer and lovely old trees. Wisemans is a great stop-over for travellers who want to skip the highway/motorway, see the incredible forest, escarpment and the mind-blowing Dyarubbin - Hawkesbury river. You will not regret stopping over at Wisemans Ferry.

There is the Wiseman's River Hotel with Bistro and the Heritage Cafe serves a great breakfast, also a Bowling Club but didn't get to go there. You can cross the river by Ferry one at Wisemans and one a little further down where you can visit St Albans, lots of history where early settlers lived and established farms. Nice drive on both sides of the river and historical sites.
