Living south of Perth, we found Yanchep to be close enough to travel to for a weekend getaway and far enough away to feel we were on holiday. Beautiful pristine beaches and a stunning national park close by. We ate at the Yanchep Inn inside the national park one night. The food there was delicious and the pricing reasonable. The beachside Orion café is the perfect way to start the day. They open very early. The National Park has something for everyone. Obstacle course for the kids (or young at heart), cave tours, easy bushwalks, lots of tame kangaroos & a koala sanctuary.

The Beach was only minutes away where we watched an amazing sunset. Shabby Chic Shack is close to local shops and restaurants. Yanchep National park, Two Rocks, Guilderton - Moore river are must see.
