Close to Varna airport as well as Bucarest aiport. 150lv for taxi from both of them to Silistra. Everything is reachable by 15-20 min walk. Little town with a great park along the Danube river for relaxing. Gallery, theater a museums are interesting places to visit. Great shopping opportunities. Many cafés and restaurants. Cheaper than the typical turist and crowded places around Varna and Burgas.BGNO112233Norway - 10Scored 10
We were on our way home from Romania, so could only stay one...
We were on our way home from Romania, so could only stay one night. We did have time to visit the old fortress and museum, which was much better than we had expected. Well worth a visit. Our intention is to return in the Autumn and explore the area better.

The staff were warm, welcoming, friendly, and eager to speak in English. There is ample on street parking close to the hotel, and it is close to the train sation and border crossing from Romania.
