It's a simple, value-for-money hostel, but our hosts Jaime and Alex made the stay into an extra special one for us. They organised a balloon trip and two guided trails for us. They get freshly baked goods from the bakery for breakfast every morning at 8am. They have a campfire every evening, with songs and guitar-playing one evening, and roasted nuts the next during our 3-night stay. And because it was our wedding anniversary weekend, they decorated our bed by surprise with rose petals and flowers, and arranged a free drink and dessert at a top quality local restaurant (the Black House). Their tips and recommendations were excellent, and Tata the dog was very friendly too! The hostel has what you would need (a bed, a hot shower, a tasty breakfast, and a hot stove to dry your clothes next to), but it's the extra care and attentiveness that makes all the difference.
