The host and hostess were the absolute best, they made us feel like we were being taken care of by a loving family, made sure we had everything we needed. We ran into a medical emergency, and they even offered lodging for free in the event we were unable to travel back home immediately.I would not hesitate to stay at South Haven in the future.

It was cozy and warm with a very serene view over the lake. I sat on the deck and watched the sunrise most mornings. Dog friendly, well-appointed and clean. Also - very nice neighbors. WIFI was excellent. Just a 15 minute drive to Wolfville or New Minas.

    Berwick is a nice town.

Berwick is a nice town. A couple of good restaurants and a bunch of shops. Note that Nova Scotia isn't in the business of catering to tourists. Gift shops have local goods rather than NS pins and sweatshirts. The Bay of Fundy and its 33' tides are 10 minutes away in Harborville The scenery is impressive. Its a family location and restaurants are mostly pubs and the ones that aren't close early (8-9 pm). Keep that in mind and your stay will be perfect.
