I have stayed here in the past. I formed a bond with the owner, and it always felt like visiting a friend. I had not been in a while, and the renovations are absolutely gorgeous. We got an upgrade to a suite, and it was so comfortable, especially the bed!

Easy to get to, the view is nothing to write home about but there's so much to see in the region that all you do at the hotel is sleep really. Housekeeping is superb and discreet. We stayed 5 nights so were able to appreciate the hotel to its fullest. The owners are ofter on the premises and are very warm and friendly. There’s a small park and a rail trail right along the St. Laurence just on the other side of the exit from the highway, about 1 km from the motel - nice for a morning or evening walk. We are a couple with 4 kids and this was our second long road trip so we stayed already at probably 20 motels around Canada. This was by far the best one! Super nice staff, very large room!! Separate bathroom and toilet, comfortable beds and bedding, very very clean. breakfast was included! Everything was just amazing, we highly recommend staying here!!

The Covid restrictions have affected the breakfast on offer, but it is still adequate and will be improved upon as soon as possible. It is still better than many hotels are offering at this time. Having 2 armchairs in the room rather than a sofa, was a very comfortable set up.
