I almost hesitate to write a review as I fear my words will not be able to do it justice. My boyfriend and I booked The Hazelhouse for a little weekend getaway and although from previous reviews we had high expectations, nothing could prepare us for just how truly wonderful it was. Minke was without a doubt the best host we have ever had, the attention to detail and care that she puts into ensuring a positive stay is out of this world. The room we stayed, the living room and bathroom are all large, so well taken care of and breathtakingly beautiful.
The breakfast each morning was on par with any fancy restaurant with the most beautiful setting overlooking the mountains, river and fireplace.
Our biggest takeaway from the whole trip though, was just how much Minke loves what she does, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so passionate about being a BnB host and it truly shows in the quality of the stay, everywhere was spotless, decorated perfectly and was made to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This heritage home is an absolute must stay and I will be telling everyone who will listen that they must go and experience it.

The whole place was quite spectacular. The property, the view, the tiny house and all of the little comforts of home that were there. It appears that no expense was spared, nothing was left out so that we could honestly just relax, unwind and enjoy. What a treat that we managed to find this property while we were in Chilliwack. Thanks so much to our hosts. You are clearly pros at knowing how to give a top notch experience. I would absolutely recommend a stay at the Tiny House Big View. As a side note, I'm a pottery student and also enjoyed all of the pottery pieces throughout. They provided plenty of inspo of pieces i hope I can make some day if I ever hone my skills enough😊

Modern recently updated hotel. Limited, but nice breakfast. King-bed room has a nice size. Friendly personnel. Location next to highway is convenient, for travellers, but creates some highway noise.
The cabin !!! After last year staying in cabin #3-Raven and being totally spoiled , what a disappointment this one was #1-Eagle's Nest, I will never book this cabin again and they cost both the same $$. Booked the cabin because I needed kitchen. Eagle Nest has a little loft with carpet only, 1 bedroom with bunkbeds, the first one on the floor, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, good firm matrass, but the furnace is in the closet with no doors, so good luck sleeping. I recommend to put the thermostat on OFF for the night.
Needs a thorough scrub down especially the stove and the stove light, counter tops, dinning table they are all sticky and a good shampoo of the dinning chairs-they are very dirty!!! Patio & chair with the table needs a power wash and the BBQ looks like it was never cleaned. I would not cook my meat on it. Tea towels have an unpleasent smell.
Bathroom was nice and clean.
This year there was no cable for the TV, you have to have Netflix account to watch TV.
I always bring my own pillows, duvets and linens, totally recommend this.
