Ile d'Orleans is a perfect spot for "Foodies".
Ile d'Orleans is a perfect spot for "Foodies". With only one main road around the island it was very relaxing driving from spot to spot tasting all the various food & beverages offered. We had supper at a pub and lunch at a winery (both had excellent offerings) and our other meals were local food that we picked up for picnics. The variety is amazing and all the people are so friendly. Also a great place to chill out and watch the ships go by. We went during the week but can imagine it being busier during the weekend. If you can, it's worth climbing to the top of the observation tower for great views.

Sylvie and Yves made us welcome and the accommodations first class (the brunch is 4 courses and a highlight of our time in Quebec). The location is walking distance to the beautiful village of Saint-Jean. highly recommend. We hope to return. Thank you for such hospitality.
