Did not tour Yorkton but used it as a base for side trips to Canora. Had a good supper at "Mr. Mike's" and a good breakfast at "Humpty's". I found Yorkton difficult to get around as it is very spread out. If one plans to stay in Yorkton for a few days, there are many sights to see.

It was my first time in Yorkton.

It was my first time in Yorkton. I had a little trouble finding my way around, in spite of the map picked up at my hotel. The reason we came was to buy things that were difficult to get in Winnipeg, because of the ridiculous covid restrictions in Manitoba. I still didn't find much, but it was already late on boxing day when we arrived, so I imagine things were picked over pretty good.

We came to watch hockey and found the community really supports its Terriers! Even the kids! The Home Opener had over 900 fans in attendance! We also went on a little hike around a pond behind the rink that was super pretty especially with the fall colours. Wished we had planned to stay longer than just 2 days.

no pool or any other related useful amenities at this facility. booked this place because photos looked good and had a great pool and weight room and hot tub, sauna, but none of this was open or available, the place was run down and dirty, none of the security lock doors locked, was unsafe. issues with plumbing, slow drains, standing water in shower, dirty toilet. the stacks in this building need to be cleaned out. call a plumber! do maintenance, and set up a Preventive maintenance schedule for upkeep. De-shoveled. not new, old, really old, out dated. Booking.com need to know to not advertise this pool and amenities as they are all broken. should be a big red flag on there site. and i was charged more at check-in than stated on the booking. not happy with out stay.

Spacious room, even with a king bed and davenport in it. Quiet, comfortable, and clean. Internet signal was strong, which is not always the case in other places I've stayed. Parking spot are right outside the door of each room and the lot is not crowded. You can find much fancier hotels, but I've found nothing of this quality for the price.

Nothing couldn't even get to my room cause I didn't have a credit card I booked with a visa debit card and was willing to put deposit down . They said nope has to be a credit card . Not everyone has a credit card and I've booked many hotels didn't need a credit card. So I called them a fuckin joke and had to find another room elsewhere.

I did not like anything. I had a family room and it smelled like something died in there, pot, smoke and really strong b.o. It was humid, my daughter had a poop accident in the car so I wash her in the tub and change hotels. I couldn't breath, I couldn't imagine sleeping there or my kids sleeping there either!

We were happy that there was a array of breakfast foods. It did have some gluten free items as well as items for those who like a hearty breakfast as well as those who eat a light breakfast. It was a very quiet hotel at night. Beds comfortable.

The room was a decent sized room, I was able to relax while I stayed in the hotel. The room had everything I needed, as I was only in for a couple of days. The service as the front desk was polite, and they were friendly.

Updated room, great rate. Delicious mini egg pancakes for breakfast. Only part I didn’t like is how much I have to write in this box. A minimum of 2 sentences about a hotel stay is too much so I am just rambling here.

The Home Inn & Suites Yorkton is located right next door to the Painted Hand Casino (Yorkton) which we attended to for our dinner meal in the Casino's Legends restaurant. The meal was satisfactory and value was good.

The girl at the front when we checked in was fabulous. Same with the lady running the breakfast while we stayed, they were both super friendly and helpful. Finally had a hotel where the hot tub actually worked.

The hotel is way dated and is essentially a hot mess. The rooms decor was atrociously old and had a tinge of musk smell. It was a nightmare all around.
