The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the new railway station and a 10 minute walk into the old part of town. The staff were very welcoming right from the start in a very relaxed but still professional manner. Whenever you met staff around the hotel they were always polite, said "hi" and wanted to know if everything was OK. The room was compact but of sufficient size for a short stay, especially the bathroom and walk in shower. The mini bar was checked and stocked each day as needed and housekeeping always c;leaned however late the room was left empty. We did not try the buffet breakfast but there was a variety of restuarants cafes within a 5 minute walk including a Chinese all you can eat buffet.
Located in Bulle and with Forum Fribourg reachable within 29 km, Le Tonnelier provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant.

The location was perfect and the staff were great. Manager Joulia was fantastic in helping us with our short stay there.

Nice little town to pop in if you are in the area anyway, not really a true destination. You can see everything there is to see in one evening.
Best fancy dinner we had at "The tonnellier" restaurant-definitely worth 5 stars!
Best burger we had at "Fry Burger Gourmet" fast food, near the train station.
Be aware though, that a 4 persons meal in Switzerland could easily cost as much as an airfare!

Bulle is a tiny city, it's pretty but unless you are going to visit the Gruyere Museum or Cailler chocolate museum there is not much to do. Stores close at 4pm on Saturday... and everything is closed on Sunday.

Lots to see and do for a little town.
Lots to see and do for a little town. The museum has very low lighting due to the need to preserve exhibits. But it is really good, lots to read, hear and look at about the social history of the region. In German,French&English. Lots of cafes and restaurants. A big market "square" in front of the castle. Excellent integrated transport system.

I was involved in Government to Government negotiations and so the Government office meeting place was a favourite spot in view of the cordial discussions, good snacks & chocolates and serene environment.
I ate at Alibaba, it had good choice of meals. Getting around Bulle was tricky, I took time to master the routes and did not seem to have mastered the place properly by the time I left. It happens for some of us who prefer staying indoor most times. In view of the tight schedule and the fact that our meetings were with Government officials at Bern, travel by train was fun. It was nice viewing cattle in the beautiful countryside environment and also taking a nap in the peaceful train ride
Location is excellent. Only a few minutes' walk from the Bulle train station/bus depot. Easy to find. Check in was smooth. The room was comfortable and warm, with basic facilities for our stay. Good place for a short weekend getaway with nice decor and cozy furniture. The connection to Charmey allowed us to visit the Desalpes parade on Saturday morning and was a nice base from which to do some gift and holiday shopping in Bulle. Nearby to restaurants, the older section of town, and walks/hikes into Gruyeres.
The house was super cozy and quite big and the owner is very kind and friendly. He did his best to accommodate me and my boyfriend who stayed over for one night and I felt very comfortable staying there for a week. The location is quiet and within walking distance from Bulle center and the view from the room is simply amazing. The house was clean and all the features described on the listing were available.
My stay at the hotel was very adequate. The room was tidy, clean and the bed and shower have been spacious. The breakfast was simply amazing, with such a wide range of food and beverage choices, ranging from Muesli and local cheeses to champaign and smoked salmon. The staff was really helpful and friendly and I had no problem sleeping with open windows on a weekend (soundwise).
Rooms were very clean and breakfast was really tasty, there were various products to select. The view from the window is picturesque. Despite the hotel is based in old building, everything is so tidy and it only demonstrates its own style and oldish atmosphere. The last one thing but not less important, the host is really friendly, helpful and kind.
good central location, you have a lot if things around the hotel ( center, train station, grocery, etc.). friendly staff, clean rooms, the hotel is quite new. quiet during the night. spacious rooms - we had a junior suite for a family if 3.
Iff you book the Executive class of rooms you get a huge room with plenty of space. Fantastic and never seen for this price.
Also, check the Asia Fusion kitchen of the hotel Restaurant, interesting menu and very nice.
Room was clean and ours had a parking view which made easy to look for the car. The place overall is nice and in a convenient location, Thursdays they have a market in Bulle which is very close and nice to see.
I absolutely loved staying in this hotel. The room was great. The hotel is brand new with a beautiful design. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The staff was very friendly. Will stay again.
Everything is great! Check in smoothly, apartment is spacious, well equipped, kitchenware, washing machine and so on, very close to the check in office and bus stop. Bulle is a also very nice little town.
The hotel was clean, neat and relatively modern. The city is quiet and nice, very close to the mountains. The staff was very nice and an english speaking person was always available to help us.
Clean, well situated, comfortable. Great communication with staff for easy check in… we didn’t expect anything from Bulle but are extremely happy we stayed there rather than Gruyère.
Fatima and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful, Fatima et les employes de l hotel sont parfaits.
Nice to have the burger restaurant next door, restaurant burger super
I really appreciate for the service in Ibis Bulle. I often book ibis but I really think the service in Bulle ibis is one of the most memorable good one. thank you so much
