We were looking for somewhere comfortable and peaceful to put our feet up for a few days on a European road trip. The rooms are large and comfortable and breakfast was exceptional. Although we didn't use it, the pool are and surrounding terrace were lovely. I'd definitely stay here agin if in the area. I should also say that the lake is beautiful!

The pool area is spacious and surrounded by beautiful trees and the garden below is majestic and extensive. Although dinner is not served, immediately opposite is a family-run restaurant that serves traditional dishes for a reasonable price. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on the terrace in the garden.

The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
