LOVED the location. We had to get the cable car up as the road was closed, fantastic experience. Staff also helped us when we were travelling as we couldn’t find out if Simplon Pass was open. They were able to find out and even told us that we had to get a car train. Really helpful staff. I loved hearing the goats with their bells in the morning from our room. The view from our room was breathtaking. The look of the building was everything we could have wished for, in our eyes, typically Swiss. Because it was a Sunday night we need to go over the road for our breakfast.
We had a lovely meal on Sunday night in the restaurant, it was lovely being surrounded by so many French people.
We also loved having a drink out on the terrace in the winter sun surrounded by by the glorious views all around us.
