Beautiful location, amazing employees and a lovely concept of biological food and food from their own backyard. The lakes are brilliant and Gruyere is just a picturesque hike away. Also: really friendly cats on property :)

The location was perfect and the staff were great. Manager Joulia was fantastic in helping us with our short stay there.
De Ville is a charming hotel situated in a picturesque medieval village with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It features free Wi-Fi and fine dining with renowned regional specialities....
La Fleur de Lys is housed in a 350 year-old building right in the centre of the medieval town of Gruyère, 400 metres from Gruyère Castle, the Giger Museum and the Tibet Museum.

I do not remember when was the last time I gave 10 in all categories (and I travel a lot), but this place and its team really deserve it. Warm & cosy (even fire on the fire place), with excellent food and friendly staff... this place exceeded our expectations and became one of the highlights of the trip. Once again THANK YOU for the stay :)
Located in the centre of the small village of Charmey in the Gruyère region, Romantik Hôtel l'Etoile occupies a restored 17th-century building. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available.

Very charming, cosy rooms. We had two interconnecting rooms which were perfect for a family of 4. Good location in the centre of the village.
Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Again the decor and charm of the place was perfect.
The hotel is typically Swiss and parking is easy. Short drive or long walk into Gruyeres which is absolutely stunning.
We had a room at the front of the hotel which, although had a balcony with nice view, was disappointingly small and very dated.
We didn't eat in the restaurant but it always seemed busy.
The food is excellent, and all from the local region. We discovered new Swiss products to buy at home. The location is great, right on a peninsula with swimming and boating. The owners and managers are really passionate about the hotel, restaurant, and all of their sustainability projects. We will be back!
