Where to beginning! Ruth and Vincenti are lovely and welcoming and their lodge is absolutely beautiful. The gardens make a wonderful relaxing environment and attract lots of birds. Our room was very comfortable and had a private seating area. Ruth's food is not to be missed. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Their commitment to growing their own produce and sharing their cooking skills shone through.An experience not to be missed, we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Marcelo, his wife Maria Jose and their two young children are a lovely family and they will treat you like a friend from their first communication.Communication was easy and prompt. They are generous and friendly sharing all their meals with me. I arrived with food poisoning which had me feeling vulnerable and instantly I felt cared for and safe. They were also very respectful of my personal space.
The room is big, clean with a lovely view and a private bath just across the hall. The beds are super comfortable and the bedding all cotton and and freshly laundered. The bathroom also is big and clean, the shower hot and wonderful. I would mention that water is a luxury in Chile due to years of drought so be respectful by not taking a crazy, long shower. However despite this in this area things are still green and fertile.
My expectations were low due to the economical price point and were over the top exceeded.
If you want to stay with a “real” Chilean family and have an authentic experience I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay and spontaneously extended it by another night because we liked it so much. Our cabaña was very lovingly and cosily furnished, very clean and equipped with everything you need. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of plants, a very large raspberry field, access to the river and a view of the mountains. The many animals were a welcome surprise and the absolute highlight, especially for our three-year-old daughter. Paula and her family are extremely open, friendly, helpful and child-friendly. Our daughter was allowed to help feed the animals and harvest tomatoes. A little paradise not only for children, but also for adults!
Cabañas El Desván is a recently renovated chalet in Puente Negro, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar.

What a pleasure to stay here. We had a very nice and spacious cabaña with a bathroom and a tiny kitchen. There was everything we needed. We really enjoyed the courtyard, it was relaxing there. But Paoplo herself was the one what made the stay exceptional. She was very kind, even helped us with booking some wine tastings.
