A huge building (perhaps too big for a couple). Magnificent pool and bbq area. Great hosts. Excellent value for money and would be wonderful for large family group.
Location was opposite a very interesting coco/chocolate business which was within walking distance

Wonderful location in a small village approx 4km from La Palma. Nice home built accomodtion in the garden of Louis the talented craftsman.
Near to river and national park.
Finca Sueno de Osa has a restaurant, bar, a garden and terrace in Puerto Jiménez. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Fantastic spot and Filip was a great and interesting host
Situated on the beachfront in La Palma, Terrazas del Golfo has a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

The only good thing is the location close to the beach.
However I would not recommend booking this accomodation!
Situated in Palo Seco, 15 km from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

I have mixed feelings about this lodge, the estate is stunning with beautiful walking trails and canopy towers for watching wildlife. Staying in open bungalows definitely has its charms, but also comes with some disadvantages.
Providing garden views, Albergue La Laguna in Puerto Jiménez provides accommodation and a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Location of Albergue La Laguna is great for nature and bird lovers. Lodge is quite simple but beds were comfy, clean and there were no insects in our rooms. Lodge is surrounded by nature - lagoon, forest, meadows. There are only 4 rooms and there is huge space with hammocks, tables, armchairs to relax. Staff was very friendly and they offered tasty breakfast at reasonable price. It was one of 2-3 greatest accomodation during our month stay in Costa Rica. Remote and 4x4 car access only!

The host was very nice and he could speak english. The cabin is nice with some small problems (see below). We really like the small kitchen where you can cook or make a coffee.
