The gardens are beautiful, we felt surrounded by nature. We saw lots of birds, iguanas, squirrels, frogs... The rooms are well placed in the property, with a nice balcony (with a fridge ) to sit and feel the nature around you. There are two pools, one quieter than the other so you can always choose. Breakfast is nice but it's not buffet type. Cleaning was also good

We liked the hammock that gave some privacy, the green areas, the sitting area at the lobby, everything was beautiful. One of the house cats stayed the night. It was cute.

Spectacular views and friendly staff
The villas were large and spacious
Food in the restaurant and breakfast was fantastic and reasonably priced
The receptionist could not have been more friendly and helpful and she booked all of our excursions for us.
The animal sanctuary next door is well worth a visit and is a great charity to support.

Exceptionally peaceful stay immersed in nature and all the sounds that come with it. A great experience.

Although I loved Pacific Edge Eco Lodge and would definitely return, I found the little town of Dominical a bit off-putting. Seemed to be filled with aging gringos with no particular layout or planning. The beach was gorgeous though.
Also, we visited Naucaya Waterfall, several miles from Dominical which was fabulous.

Beautiful laid-back area with lots of things to do within an easy drive. Great beach area and a charming little town with lots of great places to shop and dine. We especially loved waffle fries at Fuego Brewing Company (and the cute treetop vibe), tacos at Hotel Rio Del Lindo, and homemade empanadas at Mama Toucans Natural Foods Store.

Dominical is like Ubud or Goa in the 90s- a chilled yoga/surf town. Hippie yoga pants and hammocks are on sale in the shops; Mama toucans sells pretty much everything from vegan food, chocolate and cosmetics. The food here is phenomenal: Phat noodle is excellent, Fuego brews its own beer from passion fruit to a blonde lager and has an excellent menu, the Pescado loco is a small menu but omg the fish taco was sublime. The restaurants are laid back but are really world class food stops. Very close to nauyaca waterfall, the reptile Centre, Alturas and Uvita & whale tail. But the best part is the excellent yoga on offer at Danyasa, which has the most beautiful yoga shala I have ever been in. Rockstar yoga is also great- fab teachers & a lovely space. I loved this place. Super friendly - feels v safe for a female traveler. Quite a few long term residents & off-griders here

If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes.
If you love surfing, quiet beach town vibes. This is your place. We surfed every day. It’s beautiful. Some great restaurants around too like the Thai place. We did yoga in the yoga place up the road too. And there’s an organic market ‘mama toucan’ where we got some yummmy food as I’m Gluten Free and dairy free and there was lots of options for me

We loved the beach and there were lots of places to get a variety of food and drink. We loved the pineapple juice from the beach bar and also the milk shakes and frappe from the ice cream place just as you turn into Dominical from the main road. There was a lovely walk along the river road too.
We loved the location. It’s close to the beach yet far enough from any noise. The sunset view was amazing from the pool. The rooms were emaculate. We had no issues with plumbing and hot water. The shared kitchen area was easily accessible and available. The host was friendly and welcoming. The bonus was the river across from the location which was also easily accessible by foot or car. We went to the beach, the river and the pool all in one day. We met some great people who were also guests. We love that it was a family run business.
so freakin beautiful! clean, quite, and has the best mango/passion fruit juice I’ve ever had!! the bed was very comfortable, the staff was very kind. 10/10 recommend for anyone staying in Dominical. it’s kind of a longish walk from the hotel into town so probably better if you have a car or don’t mind walking like 25 mins to get anywhere.
Proximity to the beach, ensuite bathrooms, ability to do laundry, owner was accessible & responsive to small problems, amazing view and large sitting area outside, the outdoor yoga class located in the facility at the bottom of the hill the property is on. The games (we played Rummikub every night!) Stunning views, especially at dusk!
The location of the hotel is great and you feel right at home thanks to the very kind owners!
The room is nice and clean. Also the general vibe is very relaxed.
At first the hot water in the shower didn't work but the owner fixed it immediately - so great service.
Close to the beach - the most beautiful sunsets of Costa Rica.
The gardens are very pretty and the hotel has a nice large pool. The hotel personnel are very friendly. They prepared a take-away breakfast as we left on a tour prior to breakfast, switch out pool towels for dry ones and have a slightly later check out at noon. Breakfast was nice. Its a short 20minute walk to the Dominical beach.
We moved to the Rio Lindo after leaving an airbnb that had no aircon and was just too hot to sleep in - we were pleased then when we arrived to a cool room with a super comfy bed! I'm not sure I'd stay for the long-term but it was a great overnight on our way down to Drake Bay and perfect for exploring Dominical.
I love everything about this hotel. The location is superb as it's directly across from a gorgeous beach. The attention to details is very apparent... the beds are super comfy with bamboo sheets. Breakfast is delicious. Staff is very helpful and friendly. It's literally my go to hotel when I visit dominical.
We loved being able to walk to the beach and restaurants in town. The staff was so nice and knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. We loved chatting with Leo! It’s nice to have a kitchen to cook in and a pool to hang out during the day and evening.
nice rooms - very practical and thought in its construction. Ken was kind and reliable in any way. the town is small but has a nice vibe. shops bars even a brewery close and a really nice beach just a walk away from the hotel! thumbs up 👍🏻
Quiet and comfortable room set on a lush garden just off the beautiful beach of Dominical. I liked the hammock area, kitchen for guest use and extensive booklet of local information available at reception.
Property is adorable and close to the main area of Dominical where you can walk everywhere. Close to the beach as well. pool area is very nice along with the communal kitchen.
Good location in Dominical. The staff is friendly and helped us park our car. Value is good, it's a cheap hotel and the facilities looked new, it seems to be a new building.
