The reception staff were really helpful and on top of everything. We were greeted with kindness and lemonade. The problem with this place is that it's hard to sleep due to the noise. You could hear everything that went on outside and people in the rooms in close proximity. If you stay here, make sure to bring earplugs and get to sleep by 10pm as that's when the restaurant stops playing music. They start up again with clanging dishes and music at 6am sharp! It's a shame because the actual lodge is really pretty, the staff is friendly and the grounds are nice, but wouldn't stay here again because of the noise.

Room was big and very clean with a direct view on some big trees that gave a forest vibe during the night :) room has canvas representing the wildlife, super nice! Food was good, we didn’t manage to have breakfast because of an early tour at the national park, but they saved some boxes for us when we came back. We tried their restaurant and was good! Best view of the Arenal Volcano. We stayed 3 nights, but 2 would be enough. We visited ecological reserve and Selvatura Park. The host served delicious breakfasts. We also ate dinners at the lodge. It was a very tasty local food with great presentation. The host, Eulogio, recommended a hike to the falls on the property, and we followed his advice. It took us about 1 hour to complete the hike and see the falls.

Love the property!! The room itself was great. Luís was especially lovely and accommodating on reception! Reception were kind enough to take our bags to our room whilst we were out in Monteverde Centre (as we arrived before check in time). Lovely little hanging bridge on our way to our room which we enjoyed daily! The breakfast was also delicious & had a gorgeous view!
