The location was not reachable. The navigation system led me to a river crossing, where the bridge was in construction. There was no notice to this effect on booking. When talking to people in the village, They said that there would be a 10 km detour, which would be difficult for me to find at night (10PM)., without a working navigation system. Also, when talking to the proprietor on telephone, he said he could not accept me anyhow, since he only accepts guest until the stated time of 19PM. I was delayed in arriving at that road block since there was an hour traffic delay coming from Liberec.

Perfect stay. Check-in was smooth, breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Wholeheartedly recommend for a stay in Horovice.

The room was surprisingly cozy given its location in a large chateau. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location and views are truly unique. Breakfast in the castle tavern was tasty and had nice variety. We didn't try the spa facilities, but they were available with advance notice, and the organized tour of the chateau was informative. Lots of cycling and hiking options nearby.
