Great Alpine lakes but choose Thumsee and other clear water ones with less vegetation. My daughter found a leach in Hoeglwoether See. Both are beautiful and the trout swimming in Thumsee are amazing to watch in the crystal clear water. Sommerrodelbahn (summer toboggan) is a blast but use the break or you will end up with bruised ribs like me or worse.JosephUnited States

I would recommend that you take a travel kettle, teabags etc. as there were no facilities of this type in the room. The entertainment in the hotel was very good - especially the 'Chief' playing the piano accordion. An excellent night! Every meal was delicious with a selection to choose from each day.
