There was a wide choice at breakfast (fresh rolls, bread, home-made jams and marmalade, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, salad) and in addition to all that eggs were cooked to order. I strongly recommend booking a table for the evening meal as the food is out of this world! The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.

Just WOW … to stay in an 800yo castle, on top of a hill overlooking a picture-perfect little village …. it was an incredible experience. Absolutely perfect from the moment I arrived until I climbed back on the bicycle and rolled down the hill. Good facilities for cyclists as well! The only thing is the climb up from the village, but it’s totally worth it upon arrival. Book it now, you’ll love it!

You know exactly what you're getting with a hotel like this - everything is clear, everything works, and it's pretty comfortable. Also, the view from the balconies is great. You can sit on your balcony and eyeball the nearby Ebernburg castle. And it's quiet - close enough to the main road to be convenient, but far enough away that you don't hear the traffic.
