Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. The view from the breakfast room is spectacular. Also, there's a room on the first floor where you can relax which has the same amazing view as the breakfast room. Breakfast was decent. Bed was fairly comfortable. The hotel has lots of character. I've stayed here in the past and liked it enough to return. I find it relaxing. Didn't have time to use the indoor swimming pool this time, but enjoyed it last time. We liked that there was a wash salon right next door so we could do our laundry and there are lots of good restaurants close by.
This centrally located hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Berchtesgaden Train Station. Each room has a balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps.

Location is great (if you have a car), close to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest but away from where the majority of tourists stay. There is a fantastic restaurant next door to the hotel. I'd recommend making a reservation. Staff are friendly and helpful, free parking available, room was clean and a good size and the place was clean throughout. Depending on what side you are on the views are fantastic!

The room is very spacious including a bed, a sofa and a balcony overlooking the view. The receptionist was very friendly and asked several times if we needed anything else. The breakfast with fixed tables and personal attention from the waiters. The meal itself was from fresh products, varied and very tasty. The location of the hotel was excellent. Fully recommend the hotel.
Enjoy Bavarian tradition in a family atmosphere at 850 meters above sea level.

Bertchesgaden is just beautiful.
Bertchesgaden is just beautiful. There is so much to see and do. The Eagles Nest and Lake Konigssee were just spectacular. Public transport links are amazing and not too tricky to navigate. Hospitality in the area is fantastic, too. We will most definitely be returning.

So beautiful.
So beautiful. We go every year and always discover something new, be it a new walk or restaurant. Never get bored of the beauty and atmosphere. It is so easy to get around using the free bus transport with the Gästekarte. Nothing to avoid. All wonderful. Especially stunning this time of year with the Christmas market. Easy to visit Salzburg by bus or train too. Recommend visit to Bad Reichenhall too.

We visited Eagles nest.
We visited Eagles nest. Because the weather was misty, there was no five-star experience.
because the return bus service you must book for concretely time then we had much more time on top of the hill than we need it, but opposite was very instructive visit Naci’s museum close to the lower bus base.

Small town with good infrastructure in the center of a paradise.
Infinite hiking options.
Can manage with public transportation (bus) but it could significantly improve service for tourists - e.g. higher frequency in peak hours.

This place is like a fairy land.
This place is like a fairy land. Peaceful, scenic, and easy to reach by train. Our stay was clouded by the weather, but it did not deduct any beauty of this place. Wish we could understand German, which will make our visit of Salt Mine or boat ride more joyful.
Traditional Bavarian style in a great location. They were not too busy, so they upgraded (at no extra charge) to a room with a nice balcony and a perfect view of the valley and the snow covered mountains. There are a few restaurants nearby (don't go to the Greek restaurant across the street from the hotel. It is horrible). Hotel breakfast was formidable with a host who showed passion and pride in what he was doing. A great place to stay, and a great place to start a new day on our journey across the Alps.
This delightful apartment in the centre of Berchtesgaden, gave us all that that we needed for more than a weeks stay. We arrived several days before Christmas and were delighted to find that the Christmas market was right across the road and importantly the bus stop “Centrum” was about 50 metres near us. There were also quite a number of cafes, restaurants, supermarket and shops. Berchtesgaden is well worth visiting over the Christmas period.
A nice hotel in the beautiful town of Berchtesgaden, slightly off the beaten path with a very short (just a few minutes) walk to the city center. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The super friendly staff make all the difference! They were very helpful with offering suggestions on restaurants and things to do in the area and really went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and pleasurable.
The hotel is in a lovely location about a 10 minute walk from the town, the veiws from our room were amazing.
Our room was first class, spotlessly clean and twice the size of a normal hotel room, the steam room shower and jacuzzi bath were a big bonus.
The owner was friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in reccomending this hotel to anyone staying in Berchtesgaden.
The hotel is situated very conveniently in the middle of Berchtesgaden, it's easy to get around by foot or park your own car near the hotel for free. Rooms are set up in Alpen style, breakfasts are super tasty with many options. Also, the looks from the window and dining room are unique. The staff and hotel owners are great and very helpful people.
Centrally located in the flat of Berchtesgaden. By the clearest running river. Near the famous extended train station. 2 floors of underground parking. I liked the staff, lovely ladies; sincere and caring and all real. Great local beer. Maybe 10 minutes from konigsee and similarly from the Berghof (or remains of). Many thanks for the care.
The view from the hotel down toward the alpine valley and on down to Berchtesgaden was exceptional. The "included" breakfast was excellent. The room was exceptional, clean and modern. The staff was great in every respect. I stayed there in 2019 and that is why I stayed there again in 2023. Everything about the hotel was topnotch.
Great location, very near (5 mins walk) from the Berchtesgaden bus station. Hotel’s situated at the foot of a small hill, and it overlooks spectacular views of the Bavarian Alps. Good place to stay if you’re visiting Berchtesgaden for a couple of days.
Location of the Hotel is very nice, but parking facilities is not good they have there hotel garage but we need pay for that, It is not included in the booking. And staff is not so friendly and breakfast is not so good as excepted.
Nice hotel in Berchtesgaden
Rooms are big enough. We had two rooms with mountain view and tiny balconies. We were on foot so no ideas about parking situation.
Facilities are a bit dated but worked out ok for me.
The location was perfect! The view from our room was amazing!! we could have sat on the balcony all day long, but there were so many things to do nearby. Great central location for Königsee, and Berchtesgaden.
Hotel itself was fine but the staff at the front desk on the day of checkout turned a mediocre stay into an awful one. I'll never go back here solely based off my interaction at checkout.
Amazing view of Watzmann. The second highest mountain in Germany, majestic with its jagged shape. It forms the dominant feature of the Berchtesgaden Alps.
