The location is great - one of the placed hotels in Gelsenkirchen. The staff was exceptional, helpful in every way and they smile!
The room was quiet and well furnished, everything was in place. Maybe the pillows might be somehow better - that is my sincere opinion.
The breakfast was a feast itself - very large selection, all of prime quality. Very nice tea selection - really one of the best in Germany.
This hotel in Gelsenkirchen offers stylish rooms and a Mediterranean restaurant. The Veltins Arena and the medicos Aufschalke healthcare centre are steps away.

The Zollverein Mine, Unesco Heritage, worths the visit.
The Zollverein Mine, Unesco Heritage, worths the visit. I was there on business, but I had a great time visiting the several parks built where once there were mines or steel usines. It is a diverse city, very green. Not the very turistical place, though.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time. As we visit relatives in Gelsenkirchen every year we have now found our favorite hotel to go to, so we will be booking with them again for our next trip.
The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and spoke very good English.
As a wheelchair user all aspects of my needs were catered for ie: automatic doors. The room (junior suite) was very spacious as was the on-suite.
From the friendly welcome to the checking out, I was made to feel at ease. The door card system is easy to use and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is very clean throughout and the breakfast is always fresh and good quality. The hotel does have assigned parking which makes it easy to park close to the by. All in all a good hotel at agood price.
The staff was so helpful. She wait for us until 11:00 pm, even thought she would left at 9:00 pm. The recepsionist is so polite. The hotel its near the main street and also near the shopping street. In the room we find two chocolate for us. The help us with an iron. The staff was too suportive.
The location is in the middle of a park. It is an old but very well renovated manor. The environment is very quiet.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, as well for the hotel and as well for the restaurant. they must have a very good chef because the quality f the food is outstanding.
Really nice hotel located near the stadium, but otherwise a bit outside the central city (although connected by bus and tram). the room was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was extra, but complete.
The Arena Hotel provided great value for money, the perfect location, and made my after hours check-in very easy. As a bonus, there is a sushi restaurant on the ground floor.
