Situated in the centre of the city. The room was rather small but the bathroom was good. There was no parking place, but at the tourist office we could buy a ticket for the whole city for only 9 euro’s.

Lovely room and shower, great breakfast and nice to be able to lock up the bicycles in a shed and to have easy and free parking at the premises. We would love to come back another time.

Perfect location if you like hiking, woods, rivers and easy mountains. Liked it a lot. Small cute touristic town, almost a village. And a lot of nature around. Even if you came without a car but you love walking - would be nice place for you. There seems not so much to do in the town other than eating and drinking but this was what we needed.

Monschau is a very pretty tourist-centric village.
Monschau is a very pretty tourist-centric village. Lots of hotels, holiday homes, restaurants and cafes. People are very friendly. Parking can be difficult altho there is a parking lot at each end of the village - do use them as parking in the middle is limited.
It has a lovely Christmas Market .
Monschau is also very convenient for visiting Aachen.
The Eifel is also a great area to walk or cycle and there is plenty to keep adults and children busy in the open air!

Visiting for Christmas Market. Aware only on at weekends.
Visiting for Christmas Market. Aware only on at weekends. We have visited several times over 20 years ago.Town not so decorated eg houses etc compared to few years ago. No longer small supermarket nor chemist, less stalls. Market did not seem as busy . The “passion play” held outside involving the children also no longer. Is this just a sign of the times following Covid? / rise in cost of living. However, we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just two of us now. Also enjoyed the snow, made town and surrounding area very festive.

An amazing small village between mountains.
An amazing small village between mountains. Amazing atmosphere specially around Christmas time. Beautiful Christmas 🎄 markets nice traditional Cafe and restaurants. The most amazing part is that no cars allowed in the Centre. I highly recommend. Monschau is a village back in time.

We were on holidays in a group of 4 friends with our dog, Ladrador size. I mention having our dog with us as it impacts what you do. We did not visit inside buildings however walking around Monschau we could enjoy the magical atmosphere and colours of the buildings. People were friendly, terraces were heated and lovely. We ate out twice, together with our dog and had lovely well priced meals and found the staff to be very friendly.

This was our third visit to Monschau.
This was our third visit to Monschau. It's a useful stopping point from Calais to Germany/Alsace/Mosel Valley. Very pretty town with good restaurants (particularly recommend Zur Halle which is an old-style pub with lovely owners). We stayed in a holiday home about 25 minutes walk from the town (with on-site parking, which was useful).
The breakfast was adequate but no more than that. The woman in charge was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The room was comfortable with modern furniture and fittings, but the bathroom was very small and rather cramped. We were unable to park at the hotel because the very limited parking had already been taken up by others (we parked in a parkhaus a short walk away). The location in the centre of Monschau was good.
Our stay in Monschau was an absolute delight, with the magnificent breakfast setting the tone for our days. The hosts were truly wonderful, going above and beyond in assisting with our wet motorcycle gear and ensuring everything was perfect for us. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the center, and having dry parking for our bikes was the cherry on top. Everything was simply great!
Nice room with a comfortable bed and very nice shower! Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly.
The hotel is only a few minutes away from the old town of Monschau, so we had a very nice walk and went sightseeing.
They let us use their parking place even after checking out so we could still have a walk in the old town. So nice of them!!
Breakfast was good. The hotel looks great, and I like the way it harks back to the past. The location is on a quieter street very near the town centre, which is excellent. The room (third floor) was adequately furnished, but we felt the ventilation could have been better. Beds were good.
Hotel is located in Centre of Monschau, with walking possible towards the glass factory, a parking place and the town centre.
Room was the right size to sleep in, but not much room for moving around. Breakfast was good with scrambled egg, fresh bread, vegetables, cheese and more.
Very nice bed and breakfast, by the river at the entrance of Monschau. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Nice breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and with river view. Definitely recommend it for a trip to Monschau and nearby area.
Quaint 4-story home in the heart of Monschau, across Hotel Horchem, fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The terrace was a nice surprise with a great view of the Burg. Comfortable beds and furnishings.
Excellent location, just a couple of minutes (on foot) from the center of Monschau and the municipal car park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and rather comfortable overall.
Very close to Vennbahn bike trail, Close to Monschau, Game room in basement, Private lawn with grill, Quiet street, beautiful view of fields behind house, Large rooms, Nicely furnished kitchen
It was overall a good hotel. It was clean, quiet. Even though we arrived out of the checkin hours, it was easy to get the keys and everything was well prepared for us inside the room.
Wonderful location with the best view in Monschau 🤩 the appartement has that typical charming feeling and you are immediately teleported into the ambiance of Monschau!
So nice hotel with great service, the room is cozy and clean, the owner Linh so nice Lady and Generous. We like everything and we will come back for sure 👍
