The architecture of the building is interesting and Amöneburg is such a lovely village. I would definitely recommend a longer stay than just 1 night.

Lovely location on the central square of the historical little hill town-village of Amöneburg, I particularly appreciated the nice relaxing welcoming atmosphere, the spacious room in a modern yet traditional style with a private terasse, the truly excellent meals, dinner and breakfast, and especially the fresh local products.

Small hotel with friendly staff. The bar is frequented by locals, but not those "keep to the road" types. Restaurant with a good German menu. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with a large bathroom. WiFi was strong. Nothing to complain about. I would have no second thoughts about staying here again. Much better than many chain hotels.
I had a pleasure to spend 2 nights at Hotel Zum Stern during my conference at Rauischholzhausen. It is a beautifully located hotel. The breakfast was with a huge choice even if there were not many guests. The staff was really helpful whenever we needed help (like with ordering taxi). I would highly recommend the place and come back again.
