Our room was modern, the bathroom new and spacious. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre and Stadthalle (for events). A public carpark is almost next to the hotel, in case the hotel carpark is full. Breakfast was fine for the price.

Gorgeous, massive monastery on top of hill above town. Simple, undecorated room. Most comfortable beds we’ve slept in on our 10 days of travel. Pleasant, helpful staff. Lovely, pastoral walk past the monastery and then left at soccer fields down into farmed valley below. Intersects with dirt road that is a longer distance walk/bike/horse path thru valley. Check out QRS code on benches at that intersection.
We serendipitously arrived the evening of an organ concert. That was impressive!
