Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything to make us happy. The hotel has great wellness facilities that you can use until 10pm. Breakfasts are really nice and you can even order some things a-la-carte. We also loved the restaurant there which offers a great selection of delicious dishes.

The hotel was easy to use. The self-checking was explained very well through emails and the signage was very clear once we arrived. The keys were also very easy to access and use. The reception also had a mini shop, free tea and coffee, reading glasses to borrow and a gym.
The facilities in the room were very good: full length mirror, table with chairs, mini fridge, sofa, hotel welcome booklet, local area booklet, adjustable heating. The kitchen had all utensils and crockery and was clean. There was also free tea and coffee and a dish washer. The shower was hot and toiletries provided and we had two towels each. Sharing facilities was not an issue for our stay.
The hotel owner was very kind, helpful and spoke English well. The cleaner was also very friendly.
The bikes were easy to book and access in the morning and return. They had helmets, lights, basket and lock. They were very comfortable to ride (I think they're new).
The location was also very good. < 10 min walk to the centre. < 5 min walk to Lidl.

It’s a nice town to stop and visit but unless you’re staying longer to go to the beach, one day/one and a half should be enough to rent a bike and visit Grenen (the northern part of Denmark), the history museum (with the bunkers from WWII), the art museum and the ruins of a church. Walking around the city centre is quite nice as well.

It is a great place to spend a night.
It is a great place to spend a night. The village itself is small but lovely and ooze out the fisherman-type village atmosphere that you found dotted along the Northern European coast. It also contains several supermarkets where you can get grocery for your cooking.
The best place of interest is of course Grenen, the most Northern tip of Denmark in which if you come during winter time, expect to walk about 2.5 km. from the parking lot to the tip. In summer, there are local tractor that will help transport you.
Last but not least, don't miss the Skagen lighthouse, the view from the top is excellent and it has a good museum that tells you all about the bird migration. Also, the sand-covered church, although simple, its history is quite interesting.

It's located in the outskirts of Skagen, so unless you have a car, you'll need to walk for at least 40 min to reach down town. For hikers, the though, the location is great - between Skagen and former Old Skagen, now Højen.

Skagen is a tourist hot spot, victim to mass tourism like (in Europe) Venice, London, Amsterdam, Rome etc. You would not like to go there in high season, especially during July. Out of high season, however, you will appreciate that the weather is better than average in Denmark. Use this to your advantage, because when most of the high season invasion has receeded to their upper class ghettos, Skagen is really a cosy and romantic place with a lot to offer the casual traveller.

A good place to calm down for a few days, especially now in the in-between-seasons time. Still enough guests that a selection of restaurants, cafe and bars are still open. Great place to spend some time at beach enjoying the fresh breeze and the view between the 2 seas.

Anything between 6 hours to 12 hours is enough for the things to see. Renting a bike is a must if you don't have a car. No public transportation should be expected. Don't expect you can walk every where. Things are quite far for walking. Cycling is a better option
The location was excellent right at the center of Skagen town. The breakfast was very good and the hotel was quiet so we got a good nights sleep. In general the room was nice and everything worked, so we are happy about our stay and I would consider staying here again. But it was also not one of those memorable stays which you have to come back to.
The host was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Communication was really good so it was easy to find the place, which is just near Skagen Station and the city center. There are also bikes available, which makes the place a good option when just commuting especially during off season.
The hotel is beautiful and the host is super helpful and friendly. The garden is really nice to sit for a coffee and a book. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Totally recommended if you are traveling to Skagen
Modern, attractive design. Good varied breakfast. Free secure parking.
Skagen is relaxing. We recommend the museum for the rest credible Kroyers. Also the beach walk to the tip and sight of the tractor/tram.
Very nice holiday home, fully equipped, spacey and with access to the garden. A little outside of downtown Skagen and therefore really quiet. Very good access to major roads and grocery shops in the area.
We arrived late after a late booking to visit Skagen.
We were greeted most courteously and given magnificent rooms overlooking the harbour. Skagen is a great place and this hotel is the best place there
The prettiest and best updated bathroom you will find in the area. The bed was SO comfortable. Very cozy space and amazing breakfast! Great location to walk Skagen and only 6 minutes from Grenen.
No other hotel gives the same comfort ad Color but alas it is a bit away whereabouts" it snows", but if you happen to have P- parket kors Down town you can survive 😉
It was a very nice property located witin easy reach of the town Skagen and the beaches. The property had good wifi and air conditioning that worked well.
