We travelled to Legoland and decided to live in Vejle and this was best option as it has free parking for hundreds of cars, nice restaurant and very spacious rooms with 1 bedroom and 2 single beds and a nice bathroom.
Hotel is little old but spacious and clean. It has jice restaurant where you can get breakfast and dinner till 10 pm.
Area is nice when you arr travelling by car as it will be 1.5 km walk to shopping street where most restaurants are.

Vejle is a calm, small city different than Copenhagen, but worth visiting. It has its charm with a few interesting places (e.g. The Wave, The Fjordenhouse, a pier or a panorama café on the 11th floor at The Zleep Hotel Vejle). It is also a good base for visiting Legoland in Billund.

Best place to stay when going to Billund or any other City. Thank God we got to go there and see the Architecture and cozy little City that Vejle is. Vejle is a nice sized town with lovely shops, lovely people and enough tourist places to go and see. It has lovely architecture, good museums and beaches nearby. Good restaurants with great and plentiful food. Go to the harbour area to see the buildings there, really really interesting. The beer is excellent and a good variety if you like a good one. Did not check out the nightlife sorry. Good train, and bus opportunities. The airport bus stops there and easy to fly to from Manchester or London. Takes around 1/2 hour. Vejle is a beautiful town full of beautiful buildings and nature parks with friendly deer. It is also only 30 min by bus from the Billund Airport. We rented a car and visited Odense (1 hour drive) and to Copenghagen (2.5 Hour drive)

Its a 10min walk to a regular bus service 43/143 which brings you to both venues in Billund. Vejle itself is a beautiful town with lots of shopping and places to eat. There was a big grocery store across the road from the apartment and a really lovely food court! The apartment was well equipped with all we needed and clean and comfy beds. Communication with the owner was clear in advance. We'd certainly stay here again if we return to Denmark.ClareIreland

A big enough place to spend your free time, a comfortable living room, a large, comfortable dining room, a fully equipped kitchen. The beds are a good size and comfortable. The house is located in a quiet residential area, but at the same time close to a main road, from where you can take a bus to the center or walk just 20 minutes. The owner is very kind and completely respects your privacy.
