palm shadow resort, hotel in Tunis

Palm shadow resort in Tunis has a terrace and barbecue facilities. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a garden, as well as an indoor pool.

Tunis is a lovely place in Egypt, especially in Ramadan when it is quiet and relaxed. The complex is in a walled garden which is nice to spend time in. The pool is in a separate area and hard to find so make sure you look for it because it's great!

Zad El Mosafer Guest House, hotel in Tunis

Located in Al Fayyūm, just a 5-minute walk from Qaroun Lake, Zad El Mosafer Guest House has traditionally decorated rooms. It offers an outdoor pool, pottery workshops, and a restaurant.

Returned to this oasis for another 3 nights. Love it here. Staff are lovely, gardens and pools a welcome gift. A short walk to the centre of this peaceful friendly village. Enjoyed the traditional breakfast and dinners. Choice of eating inside or up on patio with view of the farmland and lake. Very popular with Egyptian families and young course participants. Will most certainly return, Egypt has my heart! Thank you for being my wonderful rest place!

Beautiful apartment and a very tastefull interior. Slept like babys here. From the soft bed to the waking up at the beautiful terrace. We where all alone here and the owner kindly told us to make use of everything. Everything was fresh and clean. We really enjoyed our time here and enjoyed some well deserved relaxation. The village is amazing and pittoresk, everyone is kind and we had great time.

The place is located in a magical place. You can enjoy a breathtaking view on a lake between desert and olive grove from your balcony or a terrace on a roof or even from a garden. We were here in a low season, so we were the only guests in the hotel. My youngest kid enjoyed the pool))

Beautiful hostel and lovely location on Qaroun Lake, although a little far from Tunis village. The staff were so kind and helpful, going above and beyond throughout our stay and offering trips and experiences. The chalet was nice and had a lovely view.

villa tunis village, hotel in Tunis

Featuring a spa bath, villa tunis village is set in ‘Izbat an Nāmūs. Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.

Tunis village in Fayoum oasis is another hidden Egyptian gem, away from the popular touristic locations. We've just back from our amazing New Year's trip to the village. Villa Tunis Village is a great place where you feel immediately like home. It's spacious, clean, cosy, surrounded by green garden, and has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. The host Ashraf is a very nice and hospitable person, a bit shy but very helpful. Unfortunately, he doesn't really speak English. Although with the help of Google translator, Ashraf was always available in WhatsApp, answered any questions, took orders for breakfast and dinner, and organised excursions for us. He was really invisible, which gave us feeling the villa was our home)

Tzila Lodge, hotel in Tunis

Tunis village Villa is situated in Fayoum Center. The accommodation is 150 km from Cairo.

We had four wonderful days here. The place has a nice relaxing vibe. Staff are so friendly. Ragy, the manager, had contacts for different safari tours' activities, which we'd highly recommend (Wadi Alrayan, Magic Lake, etc...). Also, pottery workshop was just around the corner. He arranged rides for us so we didn't have to go through the hassle of dealing with each separately. The food is delicious — would recommend Um Ali for dessert and the oriental breakfast Feteer) in particular.

Attractive, quiet village with one long main street containing lots of outlets making and selling pottery. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, good for strolling around. Well placed for exploring the area. Good range of accommodation in much better settings than those set along the main road beside the lake. Fair-priced taxi to Cairo airport takes two and a half hours. Restaurants ask you to order dinner the day before - no short-cuts with microwaves. Quality varies. Ask around.
