The staff are very friendly. The roof terrace is a great boost and lovely to get a quick dip in too if it's warm. The breakfast buffet was a good start to the day too. Great location, close to the park and the old town. Road noise a slight issue but we get used to it quickly.

Not sure why anyone would go to Alboraia, there is literally...
Not sure why anyone would go to Alboraia, there is literally nothing to do there! You would be better off going to Benimaclet (2 metro stops away) this is where you get the tram to the beach. If you are planning on walking to the beach from Alboraia, it is approximately 50 minutes away. Alboraia is primarily a residential area, there is a bar/restaurant next door to the hotel but it doesn’t open until 6pm. I used the bathroom one night while having a drink there & it was filthy, so we immediately dismissed the possibility of eating there! The only other restaurant is across the road from the hotel which again, does not open until around 5.30/6pm - looked lovely but never went in there. City centre Colon is about 5 or 6 stops away, airport is 19 stops. Metro is about a 3 minute walk from Olympia hotel. Do not plan on ever going back to Alboraia for all of the above reasons.

We chose Alboraya to visit Valencia from. It is easy to drive into, possible to park the car (not easy, but possible) The city of Valencia is only a few stops away on the Metro. There are bars, restaurants and shops there.SallySpain

We were met at the apartment by Yuri and explained everything about Wi-Fi etc. Welcome gift of wine, water and cookies was a lovely gesture. View from balcony was amazing, the apartment is very spacious. Free bus number three outside apartment takes you to Patacona beach where you can pick up bus 32 into València centre. The harbour is it's own mini-village, made up of retirees, second home owners and holiday rentals. It had a sleepy vibe in October. As we had kids, we wanted the beach and the ability to be able to go into Valencia a few times without staying there. (The bus from the harbour takes 25 mins to get in). This property has a great balcony and is traffic free, so the kids to run around and go to the beach unsupervised.

The hotel is well located for access to the city of Valencia and for us, the big bonus is breakfast starting at 0730 on a Saturday as we have to leave for work at 0800 when we stay there. Most, if not all, other hotels don't start their breakfast service until 0800 which is too late for us. The breakfast is superb as well!
