The surrounding nature is awe-inspiring. Thw prices for the rooms are very cheap, and the restaurant serves simple but great food. The place is run by an amazing family, who are very friendly and forthcoming. Great value for money, and I'll be sure to revisit Bruno and his family. The locals are coming there as well, as do many motor cyclists because of the winding roads in the vicinity I expect.
Set in Prioro, Albergue de Prioro features a shared lounge, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar.

In a tiny little town heading out of Picos de Europa, felt really and properly remote which was lovely. There is a bakery opposite where we got some fresh bread the following morning which was great! We were the only ones staying here as we travelled in off peak season and the accommodation was perfect, simple but just what we needed. The owner was soo kind and lovely! We had to cook our own dinner outside on our camping stove and she brought us some fresh mushrooms and garlic to add to it as we hadn’t realised all the supermarkets shut on a Sunday. There is a very small supermarket in town selling basic items which we went into on the Monday so I would recommend ensuring you have everything you need before arriving. We were also able to store our two big motorbikes in her secure garage which was ideal and we were very grateful for. Can’t fault it at all, I would just say come prepared from a good/supermarket perspective

The staff were so helpful despite our lack of Spanish. As it's no longer summer season they weren't providing evening meals. However they rang the local bar and sorted meals for us which were fabulous including a great vegetarian option. Breakfast was 6 euros each and filling. The garden was lovely to sit in and e joy the late afternoon sun.
