Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff and great restaurant for dinner.
I was there in the Semana Santa (over Easter) and hence the parking situation in the town was tough - had to park a bit away, roughly 5min by foot.

Lovely quaint town that instantly brought a sense of calmness, we couldn’t help but feel relaxed. The cafes and restaurants all had a great selection of pinxtos and we had a fantastic dinner in Asador los Nietos on one evening. Briones is a good place to base yourself to tour the wineries but there are also plenty of bodegas in the town, we happened to arrive when a festival was taking place and visited 5 bodegas each with their own tasting seminar. There was live music in the square that evening also and a great buzz about the place. The locals were all friendly and welcoming despite our Spanish not being very good!

The room was big, with a nice view to a garden and well equiped bathroom. The landlady was very helpful, an early check in was no problem. The breakfast is very huge and versatile. The room is spacious and the 200 x 200 bed sleeps amazing. Nice breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. There is a good restaurant inside the hotel, which is convenient if you don’t want to go out and drive. Will definitely come back when we visit La Rioja again.
