New owner who'd been operating this albergue for a few months and trying to make upgrades. Nice swimming pool after a hot, dusty walk was much appreciated. Owner speaks decent English. Had free ear plugs available for pilgrims.

Thanks to a very kind owner. Every equipment and facility is modern and as it was a cold March day the floor heating system was very comfortable.

The history of the Monastery made it a wonderful experience and it’s situated right on the Camino. Although it has a restaurant and a cafeteria, it’s only a 3 min walk to other bars and restaurants in the town.
