Location great. Large complex with various types of accommodation. We had (in effect) a shed. It was ok but felt more like camping than I would have liked. Would probably suit families better than couples.
Originally a 16th century convent for The Nuns of the Carmelitas order, this hotel rests in the old town of Baeza, a dreamlike place where time seems to stand still.

The hotel is in an historic building near the main square. It is close to restaurants and the UNESCO monuments. We were grateful for the secure and accessible parking on site at reasonable cost. There was an adequate breakfast buffet. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and we could control the room temperature. An electric kettle was provided.
Casona del Arco is in the historic Andalucian city of Baeza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers a small outdoor pool and spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi.

We are from Canada and on public transport. The town doesn't actually have a fleet of Taxis so when we left to go to train station at LINARES- BAEZA 10 minutes away they were a little taken aback that we actually didn't have a car but they managed to call a cab from the next town. Our train left at noon and only bus of the day to train station was 5:30pm

This hotel has everything you would exspect from a boutique hotel. The spacious and quite rooms are nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is served at your table: yoghurt, orange juice, a basket with toasts, croissants and local cakes, a plate with different cheeses and cold cuts (even some salmon!) and a plate with seasonal fruit pealed and sliced for your comfort. The staff is wecoming and friendly, but doesn't speak much English. It's a 7 minutes walk to the city center and there is a public car park nearby, which is very busy and often full though.
The hotel is housed in a Renaissance-Gothic building from the 16th century, and is one of the town´s most important and emblematic buildings, that was originally the Count and Countess' (Salcedos´

The host was very friendly, she picked us up from the bus station to show us the way. She awaited us with a snack as we arrived on holiy Friday and shops and restaurants were closed. There were several essentials in the kitchen like oil, salt, etc. The house has a fantastic view. We enjoyed very much our stay.
