Had hoped to do a one day tour of Monserrat Abbey from this location. This is a truck stop, tattered rooms, everything about it was marginal. Not a place for tourists but for working drivers. No access to reverse freeway required for Monserrat.

Clean, tidy and friendly with a secure car park. And surprisingly quiet for where it is. Food and drinks are available in the 24 hour services in the same building, at the normal price and quality for motorway services. Perfectly located if travelling north, but a bit of a detour if travelling south. If all you want is a bed and food on your journey, it is ideal.

This hotel is pet friendly and there is direct access to a lovely track for a dog walk. You can buy a token to take breakfast at the cafeteria in the same building.
