The apartment has a lift and is on a quiet residential street, spacious and very clean, nicely furnished and attention to details with free off street parking. Cristina even offered us a bottle of wine for our one night stay that was so considerate after a rental car broke down, delayed on our trip etc. A very lovely warm welcome and stay. Highly recommend.

It is regrettable that the Camino does not go through Ventosa anymore, especially now since it is part of the 1Km art project and the installations are striking and beautiful. In addition, this is one of the most beautiful hotels we have experienced (and we travel often internationally). The hostess is helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and the hotel itself is superb in every way. To top it off, the three course meal she made for us will be remembered for a long time! Simply delicious and elegantly served.

We loved every aspect of our stay at Eguren Ugarte. Great location with close access to Laguardia and other wineries. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view over the vineyards. The overall environment was very well maintained, and the grounds were lovely to walk around. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We did the wine tour at an additional cost which was interesting and well worthwhile. Highly recommended.

Small community. Easy to feel like a local. Best to have some Spanish to communicate with the locals. The little cafe on the town square ( plaza), run by a really friendly lady who helped us get to know the community. The tourist information office is super helpful also. The view over The Valley is beautiful. Day trip further into the Rioja are easy from here.
