Very clean and bright. The receptionist was also very bright and bubbly - explained the places to see in the town, where to go to get (opening times -essential!) and also informed of cafes were we could discounts if showed where we were staying. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Room overlooked very small courtyard plaza and while I could hear patrons at the cafe until late, it’s all part of the experience of staying in place overlooking a cafe courtyard. You also get bells peeling at Iglesias Santa Maria which is right in front of you. We arrived in the morning and room wasn’t ready. When we came back after lunch, our packs were in our room - nice touch. Wait until you have a shower 😉

The hotel is just outside of Ecija, so suited my travel plans. It is on a main road but set well back and otherwise surrounded by countryside so was peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served from 7, and was very nice.

The location is hidden in the city centre, which is nice especially if you are not travelling by car. There is shampoo, towels and toilet paper. Online receptionist was kind and responsive. The water was hot, there is a bath. The TV was working. It was clean.

Smoking inside rooms and hotel, all penitrating into our room. Noisy from the road and visitors who come in late, so didn't have much sleep.

Loved this spacious house with gorgeous patio garden and huge roof terrace. So nice to have lots of space after travelling for several weeks. The host greeted us warmly and they had thought of everything to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. Beds beautifully made up and lots of vintage decoration which gives a personal touch. The house has a sense of family history attached and a great location in the town. Air conditioning was quiet and we hardly needed to use it even though it was very warm outside.

We actually met the owner on arrival, so check-in was very easy. The apartment was clean and tidy and was the perfect size for a short stay in this pretty small city. It is very well located for the main square and a number of churches and other places of interest in the historic centre of the city. Check-out is also very straight forward and if you're travelling by car the parking in nearby streets is free (April 2024).

Compact and well equipped unit, with generously sized bedroom and very comfortable bed. Washing machine in bathroom area was useful on our bike journey (when we generate dirty clothes every day). Responsive host who helped facilitate entry remotely on the day. Note that check ins remotely require you to forwards plan (and lodge your data to the online link supplied, before you gain entry instructions).

Ecija came third of the 4 towns we visited in the area - Carmona was the best followed by Cordoba. However, Ecija had a unique history and was flat and level to walk round. The churches were extremely fascinating with all the different types and styles of tiling on them. Parking on the edge of town was easy and free. However, be aware of extremely expensive restaurants on the main plaza. Back street restaurants are far cheaper and better food IMO.

Nice regional museum in a lovely building.
Nice regional museum in a lovely building.
The town was happy to have us and that was heart warming and real.
Not on the tourist map which was lovely as we had the place to ourselves most of the time,I wish I could say that about other towns.

It is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds and perfect location. It has a great breakfast including eggs, homemade bread, yogurt, fruits, cheese spreads...and fresh juice! Restaurants are walking distance. The staff is extremely helpful. Highly recommended. You can do day trips to Córdoba, Sevilla, Osuna, Granada. Écija is a lovely place to explore
Everything! But the most wow factor was the beauty of the hotel and the super attention to detail. Even to the smallest detail. I observed the owner sanitized his hands BEFORE holding my passport. Most only care about themselves and sanitize after. These little details extend to how customers are treated - the most client centric experience at such a good price! The property is a palace and I felt like a princess in my room!
It was in a calm, quiet location with super easy parking. Parking in Ecija was difficult due to an event, so knowing getting back late and still having a guaranteed parking spot was great. Easy to get to Ecija to go to the city museum and return before 12 pm checkout. I was able to get food there. The price for a solo traveler was great.
The enormous carpark and restaurant on site suited us perfectly as we were towing a large boat across Spain. The traditional hotel was spacious and very clean with excellent shower. It was very quiet except for early in the morning. Simple food, friendly service and great value. A great place for a stopover.
Nice, atmospheric and cool, even when hot outside. Very remote but still convenient to reach Ecija with all facilities.
Great swimming pool.
Fantastic views over the country side from the roof, with lots of swallows flying over, perfect for the evening (until the midges start to bite).
A very comfortable & well prepared apartment. The host welcomed us & gave us a tour of the rooms. French doors opening out to the street & a courtyard for outdoor sitting as well. Apartment is very close to the historic centre of Écija which is well worth an explore.
Very nice room near the centre of Ecija. The apartment has everything you need. The staff is really friendly and helpful. If you are traveling by car, there is a large, free parking nearby - Parking Las Huertas.
Antonio and Juan were perfect hosts and bent over backwards to make my stay comfortable. They also provided all the information that one would need to make a visit to Ecija worthwhile. I will certainly return.
The hotel was in a great location by main square. The room was fine and spacious and bathroom very good.
But the hotel had no soul...it seemed lifeless and uninspiring.
This was a stop over for us so it ticked all the boxes for a roadside stay. The hotel is dated sure but the people were nice and the food was really good.
