My wife and I stayed for one night at the NH Gran on our way from Spain to Portugal and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was of a very generous size and was well fitted out. The cleanliness of this hotel was exceptional. It smelt and was clean. Staff were very friendly with reception staff a standout in taking a little time to explain the sights of the city and to mark a few things on a map for us. It was very much appreciated. 1) Breakfast was really good for EUR 10. It is a to-order type of buffet. They kept giving me food.
2) The room was really nice, the bed was fantastic. It is just a bit weird that the shower is part of the room and not with the toilet. It is ok since I am alone but very weird if I am with another person.
3) The hotel is very pretty, it is a posh old house in the city center.
