The apartment is in a fantastic location. There is everything you need inside, even clips for your towels on a sun lounger. Iron, flip flops, suncreams, beach towels, and hats! Great views, excellent value for money. We ate out most nights, although the kitchen looks well stocked to make a decent meal. There is a great little supermarket just out the front too. I would recommend staying here if you are a couple. Parking in the summer is a nightmare!

A perfect location.It was quiet and very peaceful yet within a five minute easy walk into the centre of La Cala. The views from the balcony were superb.

Excellent value for money. Very modern, with all the latest mod cons, and has a lovely rustic homie feeling. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely furnishings ie bedding, towels and soft furnishings.
The location is great, the sound of the ocean is lovely, great restaurant across the road with fresh food and very reasonable. Parking just around the corner if not just outside the property. Anna was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Thank you Anna, we will be back.

Mijas is so beautiful.
Mijas is so beautiful. The beach is lovely the restaurants are lovely and the outside bars are lovely too. We ate at El Olivo and that was a fantastic restaurant. We also ate at Johnny’s and the food and service was so good. There is also a little cafe near the hotel called Sensi Pino Cafe and the tapas were only 2.50 euros for a small plate and the wine was 3 euros. This was a fabulous find but shuts at 4pm. We visited La Cala de Mijas in March so it was fairly quiet and the bars and restaurants closed quite early. It’s a pretty resort with quaint streets and not built up like neighbouring Fuengirola. The sea front is picturesque with an excellent beach. There are some lovely restaurants, we particularly liked Figaro and Bsweet, an excellent bakery, good for breakfast. The resort is well situated and not far from Marbella and Benalmádena, both accessible by bus or taxi.PamUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nice beach, good restaurants and children playgrounds available. Good starting point to 1 day trips like Granada, Ronda or Tarifa. Many shops. its a wonderful part of the costa del sol the village of la cala has everything you could need a great choice of bars, restaurants, supermarkets ect, beach excellent you can work for miles along the walkway. I have always loved La Cala for its location, 30 mins from the airport and a quiet spanish village that is close to the busy bustling areas of Benalmadena or Puerto Banus should you wish to travel to them. Definitely a home away from home in a nice quiet location with a lovely pool and sunbathing area. Manager of the property was very helpful and attentive. Shops, restaurants, beach and pubs are all within easy reach. We also enjoyed long walks on the path towards Marbella and into La Cala de Mijas town.
