New owner who'd been operating this albergue for a few months and trying to make upgrades. Nice swimming pool after a hot, dusty walk was much appreciated. Owner speaks decent English. Had free ear plugs available for pilgrims.

Arriving cold, wet and in low spirits, I was welcomed with open arms. A true Camino spirit.

The Italian owner and staff (who spoke fluent Italian, Spanish & English) could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
The facilities were clean and excellent, with even a cold foot spa in the garden for guests to use and relax your feet in while sipping on a beer.
There was a well priced dinner as an option for guests, which was well worth the small fee and most welcomed after a long day's hiking and a small bar with a good selection of beers and sprites.

Good location. Spacious room. Very generous supplies for breakfast and tea and coffee as well as a selection of muffins and biscuits.
Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a modern, clean and well decorated place . There is a relaxed atmosphere, a well run bar, with places to sit inside and outside. The private rooms are lovely, I stayed there before. I am not a fan of the box like bunk beds with only the dnd open (miste of them), it feels claustrophobic.
The dinner is lovely and everyone chats. You will meet lots of other pelgrims at dinner.

It was on the Camino route.
It was on the Camino route. The staff could not do enough for us. The pilgrim meal was absolutely delicious. In the morning the bar was open for us to have coffee and a snack before continuing our walk.
