The location was slightly out from the town centre but perfect for walking up to the castle. Loved the terrace where we sat and watched the sun set. Ian did a lovely breakfast and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and how best to walk to the castle.

The hotel is located in an old interesting building with a big entrance door and inner courtyard. I booked a single room but got a double with a little balcony which was great. The room had a high ceiling and was a good size.
The location is great, very close to the market square. The little road next to the building is quiet and I could sleep very well. The receptionist was friendly and spoke ok English.

The colour scheme and the lovely bathroom.. we were meant to be sharing a bathroom but ended up having it to ourselves as there was no one else on that floor. We did share a very well-appointed and clean kitchen with others but that was no problem.
